The Invent Culture project, funded by European funds, investigates social and cultural premises with the aim of successfully implementing the New European Union Agenda for Culture's (2018) new proposal for political collaboration within the European Union in the cultural field. D’EP Institut has conducted a diagnosis focusing on the elderly for the City Council of Sant Quirze del Vallès during 2022-23, aiming to identify the new needs in the municipality arising from demographic changes and population aging. The diagnosis has covered various objectives such as sociodemographic analysis, mobility and accessibility analysis in the municipality, and the development of a map of resources and services. With all the collected information, a SWOT analysis has been prepared. The leading job search portal in Spain publishes monthly data, such as types of contract and working hours, the ranking of the most demanded jobs, or the distribution of candidates and registrations by job categories and autonomous communities, capturing the activity related to supply and demand and thus becoming a benchmark of the pulse of the Spanish labor market. In 2022, Sant Just Desvern joined the World Network of Age-Friendly Cities and Communities, led by the World Health Organization. In this context, D’EP Institut has collaborated in the diagnosis and elaboration of the Action Plan for the project "Sant Just Desvern, Elderly-Friendly City" for the years 2023-2027. To conduct the study, seven focus groups were held with different stakeholders (elderly people, caregivers, social entities, and service providers), a working group with citizens, several technical and political working sessions, as well as an online survey directed to citizens and entities in the municipality. Both the diagnosis and the Action Plan take into account 8 axes: Accessibility and use of public and private spaces, Mobility and transportation, Housing, Support and mutual aid relationships, Respect, inequalities and inclusion, Social and civic participation, Communication and information, and Social and health services. D’EP Institut has collaborated with the Catalan Mental Health Federation and the Probitas Foundation in evaluating the project on child and adolescent mental health training. The main objective of this project is tertiary prevention and the promotion of mental health, improving the quality of life of children, adolescents, and young people with mental health issues and aiding in their recovery through the training of non-specialist family members and professionals in mental health. D’EP Institut has conducted the evaluation of two training actions within the project: "Talk", a basic mental health training for acquiring knowledge and resources, and "Workshop", a workshop on child and adolescent mental health training focusing on skills, tools, and strategies for supporting children, adolescents, and young people with mental health problems. For the evaluation, interviews were conducted with project managers, family members, and professionals, and an online survey was administered to participants from the second, third, and fourth editions of the training. D’EP Institut has collaborated with the "La Caixa" Foundation in the evaluation of the projects submitted to the "La Caixa" Foundation Social Innovation Awards 2023. These awards, which already have eight editions, aim to support social entities that offer innovative solutions to current social challenges. The 10 selected entities will be awarded €15,000 per project. D’EP Institut has supported the Foundation in defining the evaluation criteria for the applications, preparing the form for them, evaluating the applications, and selecting finalists to be evaluated by the jury. DE’P Institut has assessed the APP Program of the Employment Service of Catalonia (SOC), considering the analysis of design, implementation, as well as results and impact analysis. The aim is to provide useful information and possible recommendations to assess its continuity in the future. D’EP Institut has designed the evaluation of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona's Internationalization Plan 2021-2025 during the year 2022. With the aim of measuring the results obtained, being accountable, and drawing lessons to improve the quality of future public policies, the Plan foresees carrying out a monitoring methodology to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the strategic lines and action lines. In this regard, D’EP Institut has conducted a working session to delve into each of the five strategic lines of the Plan: impact on the European and international political agenda; attraction of European and international funds; innovation and knowledge management in metropolitan areas; international economic projection; and international cooperation. With the information gathered through these working sessions and document analysis, an evaluation matrix and an annual activity report model have been developed, which includes planning for the following evaluation phases (intermediate evaluation, final evaluation, and annual evaluation reports). The ASOC Catalonia project has been promoted by the Secretariat General of Open Government and is supported by the Department of Education and the Secretariat of Foreign Action and the European Union. It is part of the OpenCohesion School (ASOC) project, an innovative interdisciplinary educational program designed for all types of secondary schools to promote citizen auditing of public finances through the use of open data and information and communication technologies. D’EP Institut has provided technical support in the implementation of the project in 11 educational centers by facilitating webinars, adapting necessary materials, developing teaching guides, and participating in the final event. Finally, D’EP Institut has also conducted the project evaluation.
