Library Statistics 2020

D’EP Institut has collaborated with the Department of Culture of the Generalitat of Catalonia in the development of the Library Statistics 2020, which is part of the National Statistical Plan and aims to obtain quality indicators in the library sector. To carry out this study, data from non-public libraries have been collected through an online questionnaire, and simultaneously, the database of information regarding public libraries has been input. After conducting the cleaning and validation of all data, the obtained results have been disseminated through statistical reports prepared in different formats.
OpenCohesion School Catalonia Project 2023-2024

Once again, D’EP Institut is supporting the OpenCohesion School Catalonia project that began in the 2019-2020 school year. Currently, the project is being promoted from the Open Data Area of the General Directorate of Digital Administration (DGAD). Students in 3rd and 4th of ESO participating in the project carry out research, putting into practice the principles of citizen auditing, using open data and qualitative information to evaluate interventions funded by the European Union cohesion policies in their territory, providing results and actively engaging. During the 2023-2024 academic year, D'EP Institut is supporting the DGAD in the implementation of the project by elaborating the didactic guides, dynamizing the webinars for the participating teachers, and supporting the design of the final event. Finally, it has been in charge of the evaluation of this edition of the project. Diagnosis of the situation of the elderly in Sant Quirze del Vallès

D’EP Institut has conducted a diagnosis focusing on the elderly for the City Council of Sant Quirze del Vallès during 2022-23, aiming to identify the new needs in the municipality arising from demographic changes and population aging. The diagnosis has covered various objectives such as sociodemographic analysis, mobility and accessibility analysis in the municipality, and the development of a map of resources and services. With all the collected information, a SWOT analysis has been prepared. For the diagnosis, secondary data sources (IDESCAT, INE...), review of local plans, working sessions with the Elderly Board, and 3 in-depth interviews have been used. Evaluation of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona’s Internationalization Plan

D’EP Institut has designed the evaluation of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona's Internationalization Plan 2021-2025 during the year 2022. With the aim of measuring the results obtained, being accountable, and drawing lessons to improve the quality of future public policies, the Plan foresees carrying out a monitoring methodology to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the strategic lines and action lines. In this regard, D’EP Institut has conducted a working session to delve into each of the five strategic lines of the Plan: impact on the European and international political agenda; attraction of European and international funds; innovation and knowledge management in metropolitan areas; international economic projection; and international cooperation. With the information gathered through these working sessions and document analysis, an evaluation matrix and an annual activity report model have been developed, which includes planning for the following evaluation phases (intermediate evaluation, final evaluation, and annual evaluation reports). FUAB Studies 2020-2024

Once again, DE’P Institut is carrying out a set of studies for the UAB Foundation (FUAB) for the academic year 2022-2023 that provide information on:

  • - The enrollment process and satisfaction with it.
  • - Teaching evaluation in undergraduate degrees, master's degrees, and continuing education.
  • - Satisfaction with completed undergraduate or master's degree studies.
  • - Satisfaction with the services offered by FUAB (facilities, IT resources, virtual campus, secretariat, internship unit, etc.).
  • - Employment outcomes 18 months after completing studies
  • - Participation and satisfaction in Study Abroad experiences for international students.
  • - Satisfaction of company tutors with the profile of students on internships and coordination with the Internship Unit or the Job Placement Office.
The studies are conducted through various online surveys aimed at students, faculty, and staff (Administration and Services), as well as company tutors. Labour Market Pulse – InfoJobs Indicators

D'EP Institut has been preparing InfoJobs' monthly labor market indicators for more than 10 years. The leading job search portal in Spain publishes monthly data, such as types of contract and working hours, the ranking of the most demanded jobs, or the distribution of candidates and registrations by job categories and autonomous communities, capturing the activity related to supply and demand and thus becoming a benchmark of the pulse of the Spanish labor market. Study on Family Satisfaction 2021-2022 ICCIC

DE’P Institut has conducted the fifth edition of the study on family satisfaction at Thau Barcelona Schools, Thau Sant Cugat, and the Baccalaureates of the Cultural Institution of CIC (ICCIC). The main objectives of the study are:

  1. Describe the profile of families and students.
  2. Identify the degree of knowledge, relationship, and involvement with the ideology.
  3. Evaluate their satisfaction and needs.
  4. Understand their expectations.
  5. Identify the strengths and weaknesses of the Institution, opportunities, and threats.
Exploratory Study on Early School Leaving in Intermediate VET Programmes (CFGM)

D’EP Institut has conducted a pilot study for the Bertelsmann Foundation on Early School Leaving (ESL) in Intermediate Vocational Education and Training programmes (CFGM) in Catalonia. Its main goal is to involve young people in designing measures and public policies to curb ESL. Specific objectives: - Explore the main risk and protective factors linked to early leaving. - Identify measures that could be implemented to reduce ESL from young people’s perspective. Methodology a) Desk research. b) Online survey of students currently enrolled in CFGM. c) Face to face participatory session with one group of CFGM students, using a mixed approach: discussion and an in situ survey via Mentimeter. The study pinpoints the key academic and educational environment reasons, along with personal, employment and economic circumstances associated with the risk of early leaving, highlights protective factors, and sets out five proposals to combat ESL.
