Two of every three work offers were registered in Madrid, Catalonia and Andalusia
Since 2011, DEP Institut analyses a series of indicators on the labour market for Infojobs.
A 67.3% of the positions offered in April through Infojobs were located in Madrid, Catalonia and Andalusia. The last analysis of Infojobs indicators confirms as much, as delivered by DEP Institute. It has also been found in the report that throughout April there has been 18.9% more contracts with regards to the month prior. Likewise, with regards to the same period in 2012, there has been an increase of 14.9%.
The categories with the most vacancies seen through the website continue to be Commerce and Sales, covering 37.5% of the total, Computers and Telecommunications at 18.3% and Customer Service at 9.8%.
Regarding March, there is a special increase in the positions offered in the professional, scientific and tech activities sector as well as administrative activities and auxiliary services, in addition to computing and communications (8,671 more positions).
Of the over 800 thousand people registered in the work offers at Infojobs in April, the majority is understood to be between 25 and 44 years of age (74.5%), 13.% are young between 16 and 24 years of age, and 11.9% is 45 or older. The age group that registered the greatest number of offers was the group of people aged between 35 and 44 years, followed by candidates between 25 and 29, and then 30 and 34 years.
