A centre or service directive or strategic plan is an element of order and assessment for any kind of educational initiative.
A directive plan enables the institution to reflect its intentions in an official manner, while the strategic plan is the document pointing out guidelines and behaviours for the organization to achieve the aspirations captured in the directive plan.
The directive plan is developed through meetings with the centre’s board of directors, to which DEP contributes with its capacity of being precise and its knowledge of the educational sector, in order to fix general goals, which will be executed in a structured way through specific action lines. With these, it is possible to define and quantify the necessary investment and the suitable human resources to achieve the specific goals. All of this accompanied by a management team ensuring monitoring.
Conducting this specific point implies coordinating, in a realist way, the different tasks enabling its achievement, searching for suppliers, consulting experts and making recommendations based on the conclusions drawn from the diverse group dynamics and/or the existing documentation.
