3rd transnational meeting of the DOC Project in Barcelona

The 3rd transnational meeting of the DOC (Digital Orientation Competences) project was held in Barcelona on May 3, 4 and 5 (Project N.: 2015-1-BG01-KA202-014326).

The DOC project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union, is led by the University of Sofia (Bulgaria) and has as partners: National Agency for Vocational Education and Training (NAVET) (Bulgaria), SU Panayot Volov (Bulgaria), PG po KTS (Bulgaria), Centro Studi Pluriversum (Italy), Universita degli Studi di Camerino (Italy), Fundatia Satean (Romania) and DEP Institut (Spain).

The project aims to transfer and adapt to the Bulgarian context a digital tool to support career guidance. This tool has been previously developed in Great Britain (Kudos), Italia (SORPRENDO), and Romania (Career4U) and in Bulgaria it will be called Karieratami. This tool allows to match competences, interests, values, motivations and personality with professions or training to achieve them.

The meeting has been useful to advance in the definition of the platform for users and professionals and the elaboration of the methodological guidance. During the meeting, the project partners visited the Fundació Intermèdia and one of the offices of the Servei d’Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC) where they received information on the programs, projects and guidance activities carried out by these entities.
